Where is the villa located?
The Villa is located in the charming development
of Calabay Parc on US 27. It is less than 15 minutes to Walt Disney
World.
How many people can stay in the villa?
The villa will sleep 8 people. This is the maximum number of guests permitted in the home due to Florida State Fire Regulations and includes all people regardless of age or size.
Can two families share?
Yes, most of our bookings are for two families. There are two king size bed master bedrooms both with en-suite facilities. There are two other bedrooms, each with twin beds. The living accommodation is also spacious with a large family area, a second seating area with a TV, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Is the villa suitable for children?
Almost all of our guest’s families have children of all ages. When you are not getting worn out at the parks you will have the use of the swimming pool, which has a child safety fence. The family room contains a cable TV, DVD player, and hi-fi system but if the kids want to watch something else there is a cable connected TV in the ‘den’ and all bedrooms. The Games room is a great place to relax and unwind with pool and table hockey. The kid’s room has an American theme to it, and has a TV/Video and Playstation. There are also some family games for guest’s enjoyment.
How do I make a reservation?
Give us a call and we will get your details, send you a Booking Form and let you know about availability. Just send it back along with the deposit cheque and you’re all set.
How do I pay for the rental?
We take sterling or dollar personal cheques and cashier's cheque. Wired or mailed payments can be sent directly into our bank account in Florida or in the UK. We can discuss payment methods as soon as you send the Booking Form.
What do we do when we arrive?
You will be sent a complete arrivals pack with everything you'll need to find the property so you can go straight to the villa from the airport and let yourself in.
How does the security deposit work?
The villa and its contents are expected to be left in the same condition as when you arrived. Any damage, breakages, excessive use of utilities and/or leaving the villa in such condition that warrants extra cleaning may result in extra charges .Any damages or breakages must be reported to the management company. As soon as you depart the villa the Management Company will inspect the property and let us know if there are any problems. Provided everything is okay, you will be refunded within 14 days of departing the villa.
What if we get a problem?
We employ a local property Management Company to look after day-to-day villa operations. The one we chose is friendly, helpful and efficient. If you get a problem you can call them anytime and make it their problem. That is what they get paid to do.
What do we need to bring?
All you need are clothes, toiletries and any other personal items that you can’t bear to be without. The villa is luxuriously furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern appliances you'll need. There is also a washer and dryer, ironing board and vacuum cleaner just in case you miss doing the house work! We do ask that towels are not removed from the villa and if you intend to visit local water parks or beaches you will need your own beach towels.
The villa will have some basic essentials for your arrival convenience (toilet roll, soap, bin bags). Further supplies are your responsibility during your stay, but it is not necessary to replace these items before your departure. Please note that we do not provide dishwasher or laundry detergent although previous guests may have left some behind.
Can we smoke in the villa?
No. The villa has a strict no smoking policy that extends to the games room, lanai, sun deck and pool. We would respectfully ask guests to adhere to this rule as there are a number of asthmatic people who stay in the home. Any damage caused by smoking will be deducted from the security deposit.
Can we bring a family pet?
No pets are allowed, but working guide dogs are welcome.
Is the pool heated?
We charge separately for pool heating (£100 per week) but you won't need it during the summer. It is advised to have the pool heated during the cooler months of October through April (inclusive).
Does the villa have a telephone?
The villa does have a telephone that guests can use. Emergency numbers, local calls and select 800 numbers to local attractions airlines & rental car companies will be free of charge. Long distance and international calls are blocked, which means they can only be made with a credit card or a calling card.
Is maid service included?
The villa is 'self-catering'. The home will be clean upon your arrival and will be cleaned once again when you leave. The villa is equipped with a washer and dryer, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner and mop.
Where is the closest Supermarket?
The villa is located in within 5 minutes of a Publix supermarket at Berry Town Centre North on Highway 27. There is also a Super Walmart just down the road for all you shopaholics.
Are there any medical services nearby?
Walgreens drug store and pharmacy is 1 ½ miles south on US 27. The Heart of Florida Hospital (Emergency Room) is approximately 6 miles south on US 27 towards Haines City. If you have a medical emergency, dial 911. There is also a paediatrician clinic at Berry Town Centre, less than 5 mins away.
